Both the primers PRIME ST and PRIME AL have exceptional bonding characteristics on all metals surfaces. The noble metal properties of the Primer’s Organic Metal act to passivate and ennoble the substrate, hence providing superior corrosion protection.

PRIME ST

The PRIME ST® organic metal primer is a dispersion of the Organic Metal in a specially formulated, conventional lacquer system. This Primer has exceptional bonding characteristics on all metals like iron, steel and cast iron. The noble metal properties of the Primer’s Organic Metal act to passivate and ennoble the substrate, hence providing superior corrosion protection.

PRIME AL.

The PRIME AL® organic metal primer is a dispersion of the Organic Metal in a specially formulated, conventional lacquer system. This Primer has exceptional bonding characteristics on all light metals, like aluminum or magnesium and on galvanized steel surfaces. The noble metal properties of the Primer’s Organic Metal act to passivate and ennoble the substrate, hence providing superior corrosion protection.

The primer must never be used alone without a top coat. According to our test results, the best top coat would be an epoxy type of coating (or, for outside exposure and a use of a polyurethane top coat, the epoxy layer should be the inter layer).
